Binaural Spatial Mapping

Binaural Spatial Mapping applies the combined power and speed of various dual-core platforms to accomplish parallel processing benefits. RIS Technology leverages a unique ear-to-ear communication protocol. This protocol analyzes and maps the acoustic space surrounding the patient, applying to appropriate signal processing strategy for directionality and noise management. Binaural Spatial Mapping can only be accomplished with inputs from two hearing aids, and is designed to optimize the signal-to-noise ratio at each ear, provide more accurate allocation of the ear-to-ear resources, and boost the performance of ou Acoustic Scene Analyzer, which includes InVision Directionality, AudioScapes, and Voice iQ2.
